Seeds were sowed

and seedlings sprouted

This is just the beginning…

QUIESCE came to a partial conclusion in The Substation. Mixed reviews but generally positive and thoughtful feedbacks. Not to say that the performance in Singapore was the end product, it was more of a presentation of “where we are at”. After the performance, we are re-looking and re-developing the piece to enhance the aesthetics and strengthen the concept, work on the weak parts, filtering the unnecessary and building on more layers.

At this point in time, I must say it had been a good and necessary process with Woan Wen and Chin Huat. In retrospect, we definitely sized down the concept so that we are not being overly ambitious and we can be more focused. But for the second stage, I think we can afford to take in the feedbacks that the audience shared with us during the post show talks and work on the piece further.
