Had a long discussion with Chin Huat on Liminality and its relationship within each segment. It was a good long discussion and was fruitful and important for the process.
- Imagination, association of space and body… making sense of a space, in drawing the direct and indirect relationship of the body (audience or performer) with the space. In darkness, we see nothing, but at the same time we may see a lot more. The body become unimportant within the space, the mind carries the will, and forms…
- Sound of a space… we hear the space, we hear how feedback loops create or represent the character of the space. Physicalizing space, trancending forms… space beyond a space; looking out from inside; looking in from outside; letting the outside infiltrate in, letting the inside merge with the outside…
- Conversation… hearing the outside from within… the connection; (dis)association… Direct interaction versus chance… Liminal existence of body within a shifting space. Travelling…
- Wall… end and beginning… the role of diegetic flow in a disjuntive liminal space. The performer, the space, the journey… Character? Form? Location? Space? Physicality? Transformation? … returning, resuming…
